Family Planning Advice is offered by all of the doctors and nurses during normal surgery hours. “Morning after” contraception should be obtained as early as possible and is available from a community pharmacy.

Cervical Smears are usually taken by a Practice Nurse, but occasionally by one of the doctors.

Smoking Cessation Advice. Advice on stopping smoking is available from the practice nurses and doctors.

Travel Advice is given by the practice nurses who can administer necessary immunisations for travel to different countries as well as advising on specific anti-malarial treatments. Some vaccinations require a fee.

Minor Surgery is carried out on a pre-booked appointments basis only. Procedures include removal of lumps and bumps, hormone implants, removal of in-growing toe nails and joint injections. We also provide an ear microsuction service.

Hearing Aid Service

Uckfield Volunteer Service offer a free hearing aid battery and maintenance service from their premises in Uckfield High Street. Further information about this service can be found here. Unfortunately, due to needing the space for clinicians offering general practice appointments we are no longer able to offer a hearing aid maintenance service from the practices' premises.
