We are in the process of creating an Urgent Care Team who will support our Duty Doctor with those patients who have an urgent on the day clinical need.

Experienced qualified paramedics Dorien, Josh, Reece and Elaine have recently joined our Urgent Care Team. Once they have completed their induction into General Practice (likely towards the end of 2022) we will be able to offer a substantially increased number of appointments 'on the day' to those whom have an urgent clinical need. This will create extra capacity with our GPs for those who have 'routine' (non urgent health matters)  they need to discuss with a doctor.

Healthcare Assistants

Our healthcare assistants and phlebotomist work under the supervision of our nurses.

They take blood tests, perform ECGs and help with new patient checks.
